Named by USA Today as one of the top ten places in the US to "Sleigh Ride into a Currier & Ives" Thunder Bay Resort's Elk Viewing Sleigh* Ride, Gourmet Dinner & Wine Tasting is collection of memorable Northern Michigan experiences.  The four hour event begins with a horse-drawn carriage ride through the woods and into the elk preserve to see majestic rocky mountain elk.  Then it's onto the charming Elk Antler Log Cabin.  Sit back and enjoy the ambiance as your gourmet five course dinner is prepared before you on antique wood cookstoves.  A fun, casual wine tasting of locally produced wines is woven into dinner.  Following dinner owners Jack & Jan Matthias share some fun northern stories.  Then it's back aboard the carriages for the return trip. Two night packages available Friday & Saturday Nights, one night packages available Sunday-Thursday.  The four hour experience is available without lodging on select dates and times.  Please contact our Guest Services Staff at 800.729.9375 for reservations and availability.
